I started my professional career in 1973 (May, 21st), with 16 years old, as apprentice mechanic of aircraft. It was the realization of a dream.
During these 7 years working in aircraft industry, I had the opportunity to learn about rigour/precision, methodically, the importance and impact of the error/fault.

In 1980 (April) a new challenge in a new industry; I had the responsibility to draw, and lead the implementation of a preventive maintenance system. It was here, with this project, that started my curiosity for computers.

End 1982, started the phase of my career inside Solvay group.
The first 5 years and 8 months working on Mechanic Maintenance Department, where I was responsible for the introduction of computers in maintenance, and the creation of some programs to manage the Povoa plant maintenance.
In 1988, I was invited to integrate the IT department of Solvay.
20 years in different positions and tasks (local and global), a permanent contact with "the change" , and the opportunity to work in different high motivation projects.
Presently, since 2008, a new concept inside Solvay, a new and young company, and a new challenge...
